We are excited to welcome Tyler Menold to the Wilson Lab as a PhD student in Brown University’s Brown–NIH Neuroscience Graduate Partnership Program!

Tyler joins the lab with a strong interdisciplinary background in biology, computer science, bioinformatics, and rare-disease biomarker research. Tyler will apply proteomic approaches to investigate blood-based indicators of early synaptic vulnerability and presymptomatic disease progression in Alzheimer’s disease cohorts. His work will help advance the lab’s broader goal of developing biologically informative biomarkers that can identify neurodegenerative changes before substantial cognitive decline. Welcome, Tyler!
